Madhuri Dixit-Nene carries off this Tarun Tahiliani ensemble immaculately at one of her shows…. Hats off to combining western influences (like the necklace with outfit) with a modern lehenga choli….Don’t know if the ‘straw’ effect at the bottom of the skirt is a good thing…Maybe there is just too much fabric – overlay everywhere? Let us know what you think!
Welcome to one of our new segments of Bridal Diaries where we look at famous brides from the past! In this week’s Bridal Diaries segment we have the stunner Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Regardless of which avtaar played, she carried off a Regal bride in all of her bridal movie scenes (& in reality too!)…..Of course the Jodha Akbar jewellery became ever so popular thanks to this Rajasthani inspired look in the movie….From her wedding day pictures, we cannot forget to say how Mr Abishek Bachchan is rocking the Royal look! Aishwarya looked like a goddess on her wedding with a simplistic golden saree dolled up with a set of jewels and gajra which is sometimes underrated….This gajra setting in her hairdo is a clever way to add the wow factor without having fake hair/massive buns etc…..Strikingly gorgeous in all her bridal outfits – she truly is a Miss World! Tell us which look is your favourite!

Ashima Leena has provided this white saree with such delicate features making it goddess like! The saree blouse is the feature of the garment and although white sarees are stunning, this design (thin-embellished borders) and cut of blouse is surely designed for the petite….Agree?
Keeping with the black theme that we have seen at the recent IIFA awards function, we bring you another design by Meera Muzaffar Ali…Loving the corset (which is long in length so it goes beyond the waist hence no unwanted bulges as you seat!!!!GENIUS!) Also liking the simple styling of the lehenga-choli….Youthful & fab for a reception!
This is designed by Arjun Kapoor and although there are beautiful embroidery stitching’s – we like that it is not over the top or too sexy….Actually liking the styling with beads from the blouse and around the arms….Not a look for everyone though…What do you reckon ladies?
